Privacy, terms, confidentiality, and disclaimer

This page explains how LegalExpt handles inquiries, uploads, confidentiality-sensitive workflow, and the limits of the service.

Privacy and intake

LegalExpt collects the contact details, matter details, and documents that a visitor chooses to submit through the website. The goal is to review the request, route it to the right service lane, prepare a quote, and follow up with the person or firm who submitted the intake.

  • Only send the information reasonably needed to understand the matter and reply to the request.
  • The site uses structured intake forms for the matter facts, and larger pleadings, notices, tickets, agreements, letters, screenshots, and supporting records can be uploaded through service-specific Dropbox file requests.
  • Do not upload passwords, full payment-card numbers, access codes, or unrelated personal material.
  • If a file set is too large for the web form, submit the intake first and LegalExpt can request the remaining documents another way.
  • Contact details may be used to answer the inquiry, coordinate the next step, deliver a quote, or request missing documents.

Confidentiality and document handling

LegalExpt is designed for document organization, intake coordination, and workflow support. Documents and matter details are handled as confidential business information and kept limited to the people and service providers reasonably needed to process the request.

  • Website intake forms may be processed through the site host, and larger document uploads may be processed through Dropbox file requests or other service providers used to receive submissions and communicate with visitors.
  • Files are reviewed on a need-to-know basis for the purpose of intake, quoting, document organization, or workflow support.
  • If a law firm needs a separate NDA or a firm-specific onboarding process, use the law-firm intake or contact page to request it before sharing a larger working file.
  • Where a matter requires legal advice, legal judgment, or court representation, the file should be escalated to a licensed lawyer or paralegal.

Law-firm support and conflicts

For law firms, LegalExpt provides scoped support around the firm’s instructions. Counsel remains responsible for legal advice, legal judgment, and representation. LegalExpt can flag obvious conflicts or issue overlaps if they appear during intake, but firms should continue to follow their own internal conflict-check procedures.

  • Support is typically limited to intake coordination, chronology work, exhibits, appendices, affidavit packages, filing checklists, draft cleanup, and document-heavy workflow tasks.
  • Quotes for firms are set case by case based on urgency, scope, document volume, and the output required back to the legal team.
  • Where turnaround, confidentiality, or document-transfer requirements are firm-specific, those instructions should be provided at intake.

Terms of use

By using the site, visitors agree to use the content for general informational and service-inquiry purposes only. Nothing on the site creates a solicitor-client relationship, notary retainer, or legal representation agreement.

  • Every matter is reviewed and quoted case by case.
  • Government fees, filing fees, court fees, taxes, fines, title-insurance premiums, disbursements, and licensed legal representation charges are separate unless a written quote says otherwise.
  • Service descriptions, workflows, and intake fields may change as the site and support lanes are updated.

Disclaimer

LegalExpt provides general legal information and legal-support services only. It does not act as a law firm, does not provide legal advice, and does not represent clients in court or at closings. Visitors should obtain advice from a licensed lawyer, paralegal, or notary whenever professional legal judgment, legal interpretation, or formal representation is required.
